Christmas Food Giveaway at The Veterans Transition Center

The Veterans Transition Center and Veterans Talk Radio had a Christmas food giveaway on December 16th at the center on 2690 E Sunset. They had oranges, beets, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, water and others items that they gave to the community for their holiday meals.

In the talk show Jim Nedlee interviewed the owner of L&S Air conditioning, Rob Crone, was asked about the cook out at Sunset Park that they sponsor for the Homeless, Veterans and their family, and first responders. They have it once a month, and just to give back to the community. The first time they had the cook out they provided over 300 meals. They also invite people to come out and enjoy a meal on them.
