On February 14, 2018 Veterans Village opened its newest facility at 100 S 14th Street. This facility is an Assisted Living residential care for both men and women that are United States Veterans who require care due to sickness, injury or recovery after inpatient care provided by the VASNHS and its participating partners. It will also house Veterans that are suffering from substance abuse or other behavioral health issues.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was graced with a lot of praise to Arnold Stalk, Founder of Veterans Village, and his motto that the doors will always be open for any Veteran in need. Many speakers talked about all the wonderful things that Mr. Stalk has done for the Veterans and their families. Including Mayor of Las Vegas Caroline Goodman, Deputy Chief Andrew Walsh, Hunter Cain from Congresswoman Dina Titus’s office, Robyn Williams of Choice Center, Mary Beth Sewald president &CEO of Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and many others.
