On April 27th Las Vegas Treatment Court held their graduation for the people who have worked hard to complete the program. Most graduates have completed a 12-month program. They have a mentor to help them when the going gets tough.
The guest speaker was John Piro who explained how to keep your priorities straight and you can deal with anything.
There were 2 graduates that told their stories and how the program has changed their lives. Judge Harmony Letizia, who is in Justice Court Dept. 3, presided over the ceremony and handed out the certificates of completion. Jarenie Trachier from the Quilts of Valor of Nevada presented each graduate with a handmade quilt to comfort them in their upcoming endeavors. Quilts of Valor is an organization that has made 183,000 quilts for military service men and women and veterans, their objective is that with the quilts it is a hug of appreciation for their service and maintaining our freedom.
Congratulations graduates and be all you are meant to be.
