By Jewish War Veterans Post 21
Sunday, August 27th, in the Marbella Room of the Rampart Casino at 10:00 a.m. beginning with breakfast, followed by a short business meeting then an entertaining program. Our veterans are devoted, hardworking folks of the military who have served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam and working along are the hard-working ladies of the Auxiliary of Post 21. They roll up their sleeves and work right along with the men of the Post in raising funds. The members want to make sure our disabled and homeless vets get the care and support and opportunities they need and we support any opportunity to do our share in helping. This past Sunday, we recognized the passing of two of our loved members, 95-year-old Robert Teitelbaum, WWII pilot who served on many heroic missions and was recommended for the silver star along with our Auxiliary member, Ruth Kaplow, 88, a very caring and hardworking member of the Auxiliary. These two folks will be greatly missed. Recognized were two of our hard workers of the Auxiliary for their devotion, Debra Thompson and Arlene Goodman. A delightful program of music and song was presented by Marchand and Clark and a good time was enjoyed by all. If you feel the calling to help our Veterans, do consider working along with Post 21. For more information call Commander, Ed Tuken at 702 341-9516.
