Rancho High School’s AFJROTC program has been involved with many varieties of community services and activities. Just recently, the JROTC cadets involved in the program donated to a family in need. This yearly event takes place just before Christmas break, where they gather up money and donate it to a family in need as a surprise. During a weekend these cadets also went down to the cemetery right next to the school where they planted American flags. The high school cadets also had a Christmas card workshop where volunteers helped make Christmas cards for other people in the community. Another recent event involving the JROTC unit was the school cleanup, where the students helped clean up the school. Rancho’s AFJROTC program is very active with their community and many students are happy to volunteer at these events.
