What is the Small Business Administration (SBA) and how can it help my business? To promote awareness of SBA programs and resources for Small business owners, the agency launched a virtual training series. The goal of this series is to provide awareness and education to help people start, build, and grow businesses. The “Getting to Know the SBA” virtual series features a variety of guest Speakers who are subject matter experts in specific industries. And, it is coordinated by Marquiesha Gillispie, Procurement Center Representative Office of Government Contracting, Area VI, U.S. Small Business Administration. The webinar platform used for the “Getting to Know the SBA” virtual series is provided by the Nevada Women’s Business Center.

Recently, the Nevada Women’s Business Center, in collaboration with the Small Business Administration, provided an engaging webinar that featured Robert DuCote, Deputy Area Director-Office of Government Contracting Area VI, U.S. Small Business Administration and Joseph Amato, District Director-Nevada District Office of the U.
