On the 18th of June, at 4830 Craig Road, Suite 130, Las Vegas, NV 89130, Humana unveiled its fourth area Neighborhood Location (within Clark and Nye counties). Over 400 people showed up to the exciting grand opening. The other area Neighborhood Locations are located in Pahrump, Henderson, and Las Vegas (on Charleston Blvd near Rampart).
This new senior community center has activities from healthy living, wellness, medical lectures, exercise, movies, etc. Everybody is welcome, and most activities are free of charge and may not require a membership. These all help combat what Humana calls “social isolation”, which, according to Humana, is a barrier to good health. They wish that we all could lead healthier and happier lives. This fun environment is also a good place to talk to someone about Medicare options.
Finally, they are very proud to be the new home for American Legion Post 76, which will meet in this new Neighborhood Location monthly. Humana is happy to employ veterans and emphasizes that they are all about supporting the community, their seniors, and their veterans.
