Proud Residents from The Bridge at Paradise Valley fundraise money for The Animal foundation

You’re never too old to support your local community and the senior residents at The Bridge at Paradise Valley are certainly aware of it! On July 10th, eight residents at The Bridge at Paradise Valley walked eight laps around the half a mile perimeter raising $200 for the Animal Foundation. On August 16th, the residents of The Bridge at Paradise Valley went to The Animal Foundation to present their check. 103-year-old Ruth Markus, who led residents in the walkathon, “But I tell you I was pooped, I was huffing and puffing but I made it. I guess you call that stubborn. Just keep trying and trying, don’t give up. That’s it, that’s me!” She was happy to donate to The Animal Foundation, “This is a wonderful, wonderful organization”
