24th Annual North Las Vegas Night Out

On Tuesday, October 1st evening the North Las Vegas Police Department is hosting its 24th Annual National Night Out at Desert Horizons Park. National Night Out (NNO) is a collaborative effort sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and this year marks the 24th Annual National Night Out. The event featured free food, games, entertainment and most of all, fun for all ages. There will also be information displays and booths to provide community guests with informational resources on crime prevention and safety.
North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee and North Las Vegas City Council people, Councilman Richard Cherchio (and his dog Suki), Councilman Scott Black, Councilman Isaac Barron, Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, City Attorney Micaela Moore, City Manager Ryann Juden, Chief Judge Lee, North Las Vegas Judge Tyrrell and Congressman Steven Horsford attended as well. Councilman Cherchio said, “Have a very nice night and thank you for coming out again and if you want to speak with myself or any of our Council members we’ll be over here this evening”
Many people from the North Las Vegas Police Department leadership attended and mingled at the event including North Las Vegas Police Chief Pamela Ojeda, North Las Vegas Police Assistant Chief Jacqueline Gravatt, Investigative Command Captain Hanks, Northwest Area Command Captain Collins, South Area Command Captain Middlebrook and Administrative Command Captain Campbell.
At the event Police Chief Pamela Ojeda encouraged guests to come and interact and mingle with the police department, “Please come up and introduce yourselves and spend sometime talking to us or any of my Command staff up here and get to know your police department and members better.”
