Battle-born Conservative Women PAC, on Aug 4th, hosted a brunch and silent auction. With their sponsors, Ahern Rentals, who donated a table for all the veterans there, Jerry Littman, Anne Fontaine, Sands, Anderson Dairy, Dave Gowan, and Tarkanian for Congress, who sponsored a table and is also running for congressional district 3.
While everyone was enjoying brunch, the Emmy and multi-nominated keynote speaker Jack Scalia spoke about his admiration for veterans and their families. Telling everyone about his time in Iraq and Afghanistan and the compassion he saw from them. He is now an Ambassador for a non-profit organization called “Salute America’s Heroes”. Helping better the lives of returning veterans and their families in any way they can.
Among the 200 guests, there was Kevin Wall, the radio host of “Live & Local – Now!”, heard throughout Nevada on 790 Talk Now in Las Vegas, Judge Steveson of Henderson’s Veteran Court, Miss Nevada, Leo Bletnitsky, and Niger Innis, a executive director of TeaPartyFwd.com and a National Spokesperson for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
Battle-born Conservative Women PAC supports conservative women candidates in Nevada. Their current candidates are: Barbara Cegavske for Secretary of State, Linda Cannon for Assembly District 9, Minddie Lloyd for Clark County, Cindy Lake for Clark County Commission G, Jill Dickman for Assembly District 31, Valerie Weber for State Senate District 8, Lisa Krasner for Assembly District 26, Annie Black for Mesquite City Council, and Tiffany Jones for State Senate District 9.
