The Bridge at Paradise Valley had their own Veterans Day Celebration in house with cupcakes, the unveiling of their new Veterans Wall of Honor and followed by a Miss Senior Nevada USO show. The Veterans Wall of Honor features logos of the five branches of the military, the pledge of allegiance framed, and 12 portraits of veterans who are currently residents at The Bridge at Paradise Valley.
Many performers with Miss Senior Nevada Pageant sang and danced to many old classics including Mickey, danced to by Dr. Teri Rogers, Coming to America, performed by Pahrump’s Nevada Silver Tappers, Maura Harrow who danced to She’s got you, and Surfin’ U.S.A., performed by the Aliante Steppers. Mary Mancini acted as emcee for the USO Show. She has been the 2006 Ms. Congeniality and now produces shows all over Las Vegas at other assisted living homes.
