The Nevada Free Taxes Coalition (NFRC) is run by volunteers to provide free tax preparation assistance to help low-to moderate-income individuals, persons with disabilities, elderly, and limited English speakers file their taxes each year. If you’ve earned $58,000 or less in 2018, you can receive free tax preparation assistance and e-filling, delivered by IRS-certified volunteers at the following VITA Sites throughout Clark and Nye Counties. From Jan 28th to Oct 11th the NFRC will be doing tax preparation workshops for the public. If you’re interested in going to a workshop go to https://www.nvfreetaxes.org/ or call (702) 987-4625 for more information.
Since 2016, Congresswoman Dina Titus co-sponsors the program and does a Super Saturday, where she visits one of the NFRC’s tax workshops. Saturday, March 2nd, Congresswoman Dina Titus joined the NFRC at the Cambridge Recreation Center’s Income Tax Preparation workshop.
