Following the Helldorado festivities on May 10-12, 2019 in Las Vegas, the
John C. Fremont Chapter #6402 held its annual meeting at the Western Trails Park on May 11th.
The event was attended by many of the members at large and by the members which were recently selected as Chapter Officers which will assist with the direction of activities in the Las Vegas area.
The Fremont Chapter is the second in Nevada and has a territory of Southern Nevada while the General William Westmoreland Chapter covers the Northern Nevada and Reno area.
Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America’s Army and the men and women who serve and is comprised of over 130 separate Chapters across the USA and in foreign countries. AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army–Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees and family members. AUSA provides numerous professional development opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.
