The Post was getting ready for its semiannual Poppy Drive which enables its members to be at the markets in the valley passing out poppies to raise money for our disabled and homeless veterans. Memorial Day, the holiday which remembers our servicemen who gave their lives for our country is taken seriously and members got out there to spread the word and poppies. Keeping active and involved is how we do our work and at each monthly meeting we have a program which brings enjoyment and that’s exactly what Craig Canter did for us. His voice and charm had us mesmerized and many members had to get up and sway to his sound; not all are shown. We invite you to attend a meeting. One doesn’t have to be in the military to become a patron and help share your good will be helping in our endeavor to help veterans and enjoy yourself at the same time. For more information about our Post 21 please call Commander, Bob Greene at 702 256-1213.
