The Jewish War Veterans (JWV) Post 65 held their monthly meeting on September 1st. About 100 people were in attendance this time. The JWV Post 65 always has their meetings with a delicious breakfast and entertainment, but there were a few different events this time. Mrs. Sylvia had her 85th birthday with her fellow members and her husband at the meeting. Bentley the dog graduated from Michael’s Angel Paws’ Service Dog Program. At the meeting Bentley was given a Michael’s Angel Paws’ Service dog vest and certificate of completion from Stephanie Gerken, the Founder and Head Trainer of Michael’s Angel Paws. After a goodbye hug from Jesica Clemens and Mike Gardner, the volunteer Puppy Raisers from Michael’s Angel Paws who raised him, he became Mr. David Goldhecht’s (a member of JWV Post 65) new service dog.
