On November 3rd, 2018 about 300 veterans gathered together at The Leatherneck Club for the Toys for Tots event that the Marine Corps hosts every year. The Toys for Tots program was founded by Maj. Bill Hendricks and has grown since then. The Toys for Tots program is a program that distributes presents, to children whose parents can’t afford to buy presents, for Christmas. Their goal is to supply everyone who requested for toys, with toys. They have several more events to host – around 25 more – to reach their goal. Several organizations and motorcycle clubs attended the event to show their support for the Toys for Tots program: the Vietnam Vets/Legacy Vets MC (Motorcycle Club), Bling Devas MC, Vagos MC, Red Riderz, Marine Corps Reserve Unit and the Nellis Desert Eagle Riders Club were some of the many Motorcycle Clubs that came out to show their support. Findlay Cadillac donated $1500 to the Marine Toys for Tots Poker Run. The Show Boyz Bakery donated a cake to show their support for the Toys for Tots program. To conclude the event, all the veterans gathered together to participate in a raffle to win prizes.
