Is it any wonder why 22 veterans commit suicide every day? 11% of the homeless population are Veterans. Recent studies show that 19% of all veterans need help moving on with their lives. Most of these veterans don’t have access to the help they need. Without the help they need it is difficult to make their way on their own.

The solution is simple, show you can help our veterans, active-duty military members and their families by donating the items they need. The first place to start is at the Veterans Expo at the Galleria Mall on Sunset the 9th and 10th of November. This is your chance, a real opportunity to help these veterans by visiting the Care Package Drive sponsored by Right Lawyers. Stop by the event anytime between 10 am and 3 pm and donate used your used clothes, furniture and other household items.

“Although I am not a veteran, I saw the real life struggle my veterans’ friends went through after returning from their tours of services. I decided it was time for me to start helping veterans just like them.” Said the event coordinator, Craig Levine, Vice President of

What is the Veterans Expo? An event that celebrates active military and veterans of all ages and all branches of service; men, women and their families. More than 50 local and national veterans’ services organizations will be onsite meeting face-to-face with Southern Nevada veterans for the sole purpose of offering them the opportunities they deserve. The event is a chance for veterans to learn more about the many resources, benefits, products and services available to them by local organizations.

If your business would like to have a bigger role in helping our veterans, there are vendor opportunities. If your organization has some way to help our veterans, this event offers an opportunity to do so. With the help of our sponsors Humana and Healthcare Partners and the local media we are hoping to see a couple thousand Clark County veterans attend this event.
