The American Legion Paradise Post 149 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 149 has a reputation of being an unconventional and nontraditional Post, so this year they stepped it up a notch. Rather than having an dinner for their Installation of Officers, they opted for a picnic. Nearly 60 members and guests dropped by Rotary Park, as the weather was perfect for the ceremony. They even had the honor of having the American Legion National Historian drop by for the festivities.
