For 15 years, the North Las Vegas Host Lions Club have held their Thanksgiving Turkey Charity Event. All the members of the Host Lions Club donate Thanksgiving essentials to send out in boxes to families in need. Sadly, three years ago Edward L. Manuel II passed when he was only 42. Since then, the Host Lions Club have dedicated the last three Turkey Charity Events in Edward Manuel’s honor. This year his mother, Joyce Manuel, who is Army National Guard Veteran. She said, “I’m glad I’m able to take part in it, it was one of his (Edward’s) passions”
