On September 15, 2018, The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 730 held its first successful fundraiser at Firelight Barn Dinner. The Firelight Barn is a cozy, intimate venue where attendees become like family. They may be small, but their heart’s as big as Texas! And it shows! They’ve extended their Texas-sized heart to all who attended the event to help support our veterans. All the seats were taken for this event and Chapter Commander Dan Peterson thanked all who attended for their support.

Mama’s Wranglers provided a great performance that had the crowd singing along and tapping to the music. Mama, Toni Jackson and her Wranglers also played a melody of service songs of the U.S. Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Army and asked those who served in those branches to stand as they played their service song. The event included a raffle of prizes donated by Ethel M Chocolate and the Pasta Shop in Henderson. The sponsors of the event were Chang’s Restaurant, the Chinese American Citizen’s Alliance, and REM Business Consulting, LLC. The event was arranged by The Event Company, in Henderson, NV who did an excellent job. For more information, photos, and video please visit www.purpleheart730.org
